Mine Development
Redpath developed 12,368 m, completing up to 500 m/month with one set of equipment.
The project consisted of ramp development and pre-production development of the QDD Lower West underground zone mineral deposits, leading up to full-mine production.
The work included shop, office and warehouse complex construction, installation of ground support, advance and permanent auxiliary services, as well as installation of ventilation supplies.
The project had a national training program. The workforce consisted of 80% nationals and 20% expats.
