Redpath was contracted to slash, line and equip a 4.5 m diameter, 618 m deep production shaft at La Colorada Mine in Mexico.
In addition to the shaft, surface construction for hoist and headframe, engineering, hoist installation, underground loading pocket, 558 and 588 station excavation and surface bin house for production were completed by Redpath. The project involved remote mobilization and challenging logistics.
